The Lamborghini Countach is a mid-engined, rear-wheel-drive sports car produced by Italian car manufacturer Lamborghini from 1974 to 1990. It was designed by Marcello Gandini of the Bertone design studio, and was the first Lamborghini to use the iconic scissor doors. The Countach was powered by a V12 engine, and featured a low, angular body with a wide stance and sharp edges. It was one of the most iconic and recognizable supercars of the 1980s, and was featured in numerous films and video games. The Countach was also the first Lamborghini to feature a rear spoiler, and its angular design was a major influence on the design of future Lamborghinis.
